good times

ok so it takes me a little while to post...for give me please:) if you take into consideration the amount of wasted time i spend trying to figure out how to say what i mean without sounding...well like i just woke up you'd understand. by the way, i'm really tired today. i do believe that people who aren't able to blow their noses yet (like my daughter) should not get colds. it's really disturbing to reach that milestone where your little one sleeps through the night, only to be thrown off by a cold, come on!

we spent a week out at camp pearl...what fun! jason was a volunteer in the boys dorm, (yeah, we're those people now, the old ones with kids!) camp has such a conglamoration of memories for me. i grew up there as a kid and later worked as a server. i see myself as that first time camper who couldn't wait to raid the canteen with my fifty cents. by jr. high it was all about boys-well to be honest that went on through high school. we (girl campers) actually got depressed to find out that we outnumbered the boys almost 3 to 1 most years. i mean gosh, now our chances of meeting that really cute guy who got into a lot of trouble and would have given most dad heart attacks were diminished! not to imply however that spiritual teachings were not absorbed. i still remember learning things about God that I didn't know (and yes...i guess i thought i knew it all) i was beginning to see Him in a new light, and what a relationship with Him looked like, and how living as a follower of Christ was not always easy...but He was always faithful. i love that place and how it always brings me back to where i need to be...
